Before every game I take a nap. That gets me relaxed, then on the bus to the game I listen to gospel music on my i-pod. Particularly Canton Jones, he’s a hip/hop gospel artist. I cant say that I have any lucky socks though. Maybe I should look into that. I used to wear a pair of Old Dominion shorts under my game uniforms, but thats about it.

Chrissy from Los Angeles

I know this is probably stating the obvious but one thing that will put me in a bad mood fast is losing. Im so competitive and get so mad when I lose. And when I say losing it can be in Rock Band, a card game, a race to see who can get to the car first, ect. I dont stay mad long though unless its a real basketball game. Something else that makes me mad is when someone picks on another person. I really cannot stand that, and it instantly puts me in a bad mood.

I used to be #21 in high school, but when I got to UConn Nicole Wolfe already had that number so I chose #20 which I had worn before when I was younger. I ended up sticking with #20 and now I love it.

Meeks from St. Louis

I feel most accomplished for winning a National Championship. Its something that every college athlete dreams of and I was actually able to achieve that goal. The next best thing would be getting placed in the UConn Huskies of Honor. That was a moment I will never forget. As far as my most prized possession, hmm…. Im going to say the campaign ball that was given to me and signed by President Obama.

Wow, you want me to pick a starting five. That’s so hard. I mean I could choose a 5 on 5 game and still have players left over. I’m sorry but I’m going to have to pass on this question. I don’t want any of my friends or coachs mad at me. lol. – Renee

Hey Renee, I love your game you are an exceptional athlete and in my opinion one of the most underated point guards in the game. I am a rising senior and going through the recruiting process now I just want to know some advice and how you made your decision for college and what were your final schools you chose from?
- Janay from Pasadena

I made my decisions by the schools I felt I would be most comfortable basketball wise, and socially. I knew that going to a school in the city would not be good for me, because I’m from West Virginia and I like the lifestyle there. I also wanted to make sure that the program I chose had a Coach that I could connect with and I could be successful there. Hope that helps : ) – Renee
